BeeSpoons.(Part of the Food Chains Project)

For this project I am using multi-layered casting epoxy resin, acrylic pigments and up-cycled wood items gathered from everywhere in Vancouver. In that way I establish a direct relationship between the artwork and its place of conceptualization and production. Part of the creative process is documenting where I got the materials from and how I transformed them into art pieces. The main theme of this new exhibition project is our relationship with nature through what we eat and the tools and devices we use as vessels for the artwork. Medium: Multi-layered resin with acrylic pigments on wood. Dimensions: Varies (multi-component installation) Year of production: 2015
